The Bloody Beetroots

À propos de The Bloody Beetroots

Masked like some eerie combination of Mexican wrestler and Japanese arch villain, The Bloody Beetroots aren't superheroes, but they play them onstage. They hail from Italy, are signed to Steve Aoki's L.A.-based Dim Mak label and sound a little like the Parisian electro miscreants Justice, crossed with a healthy dose of old-school British punk. Formed in 2006, the duo of producer Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo and DJ Tommy Tea first gained acclaim in 2008 with their Cornelius EP. They released their debut album, Romborama, the following year; it features guest vocals from The Cool Kids and Aoki, among others.
