The Botticellis

À propos de The Botticellis

Two members of the Botticellis -- Zack Ehrlich and Alexi Glickman -- began collaborating as kindergarteners in Southern California, when they performed Suzuki violin duets and eventually started writing their own songs. A number of years later, after they moved north, the band was filled out with Burton Li, Blythe Foster and Ian Nansen. Together, the quintet took up a communal residence by the ocean in San Francisco's outer Richmond neighborhood, playing locally in the Bay Area. Their 2007 debut, Old Home Movies, was recorded at Fog City's Tiny Telephone studio, coupling "wall of sound" production with tightly crafted, classic pop songwriting.
